Abstract

The present utility model discloses an elongated body having a depressed portion at one end and a hook beak connected at the other end thereof. A tapering cylindrical bar is snugly fitted to the depressed portion of the elongated body, and a tapering pin integrally extends outwardly from one end of the cylindrical bar. The elongated body is further provided with a center compartment adapted to contain a string used for crochet. incorporating the center compartment within the elongated body, the crochet hook enables the string to be conveniently stored and readily accessible during use, without increasing the overall size of the hook or adversely affecting its handling characteristics.
