A footwear sanitation vending machine

Abstract

A footwear sanitation vending machine comprises a housing defining a footwear cleaning chamber having a footwear holder and a mechanical brushing assembly including motor-driven brushes enclosed in a brush housing provided with sprinklers connected to a pump and a clean water container. A water drainage outlet communicates with the cleaning chamber and a waste water container. The machine further comprises an ultraviolet (UVC) light, an ozone tube, a fog nozzle, and an air circulation system within the cleaning chamber. A microcontroller is electrically connected to the brushing assembly and sanitation components. A processing unit having a communication module communicates with an online database through an administrator web application and a user mobile application. A payment system includes a coin slot, an RFID scanner, a coin container, and an electronic payment interface. The machine is used for cleaning and disinfecting footwear.
