Abstract
The present utility model relates to a biomass-based charcoal briquette composition produced from agricultural and forestry residues. The composition comprises 15% corn cob biochar, 60% mangium biochar, 17% coconut shell biochar, 3% giant swamp taro powder, and 5% ground dried desiccated coconut. Corn cob biochar provides porosity that facilitates quick ignition and uniform burning, while mangium biochar serves as the primary carbon source with high calorific value. Coconut shell biochar improves briquette density and extends combustion time. Giant swamp taro powder and ground dried desiccated coconut function as natural binding agents that enhance the structural integrity of the briquettes. The resulting composition forms durable charcoal briquettes suitable for use as a renewable solid fuel. The utility model utilizes biomass waste materials to produce an alternative fuel with improved combustion performance while promoting sustainable resource utilization and reduced environmental impact.
