A COMPOSITION OF DRAGON FRUIT (Selenicerus undatus) LIP GLOSS

Abstract

The present utility model addresses the problem of skin irritation, dryness, and pore-clogging caused by synthetic dyes, artificial preservatives, and petroleumbased oils in conventional lip gloss formulations. The solution is a natural lip gloss composition comprising 15 mL to 25 mL dragon fruit extract, 10 mL to 20 mL bougainvillea extract, 30 mL to 40 mL sunflower oil, 3 g to 7 g vitamin E oil, 8 g to 12 g lemon juice, and 12 mL to 18 mL honey. The botanical extracts provide stable natural pigmentation and antioxidant protection, while the natural oil and humectant matrix provides sustained lip hydration. The principal use of the utility model is as a safe, naturally tinted, and moisturizing cosmetic product for personal lip care.
