Abstract
The utility model relates to an herbal soap composition and a process for producing the same. The herbal soap comprises star apple (Chrysophyllum cainito) leaf extract, mint (Clinopodium douglasii) leaf extract, coconut oil, olive oil, pili (Canarium ovatum) pulp oil, lye, water, and fragrance. The process comprises collecting and cleaning star apple and mint leaves, air-drying and oven-drying the leaves, grinding the dried leaves, extracting the ground leaves through Soxhlet extraction and rotary evaporation, and combining the resulting extracts with the remaining soap ingredients to form a soap mixture. The soap mixture is subsequently molded and solidified into soap bars. The incorporation of star apple leaf extract, mint leaf extract, and pili pulp oil provides a soap composition having antioxidant, antimicrobial, moisturizing, and skin-conditioning properties suitable for personal cleansing and skin care applications.
