Abstract

The invention relates to a thrombin inhibitor comprising an amino isoquinoline group compound N- (2-oxo-2-propoxyethyl)-β phenyl-D-phenylalanyl-N- [(l-amino-6isoquinolinyl) methyl]-L-prolinamide is represented by structural Formula IA. and pharmaceutical composition containing the said compound which is highly bioavailable upon oral administration. The compound and composition containing the compound can be used for treating or for preventing thrombin medicated diseases.
