Abstract

This mosquito repellent cream contains optimum concentration of active ingredients i.e pet ether extract of Gliricedia sepium leaves & oleanolic acid. The product is not only effective as mosquito repellent agent but also makes the skin soft. This mosquito repellent cream has been formulated by a combination of base consisting of stearic acid (softening and spreading agent), Petroleum jelly (Lubricant, soften and soothes the skin), Paraffin wax (Softener / nourishing agent), Lanolin (Moisturizer and emulsifier, water absorber), mineral oil (Softener / shiner), and pet ether extract of Gliricedia sepium leaves oleanolic acid and deionized water. This invention is economical, effective non-toxic and herbal based product.
