Abstract

[Problem] To prevent oncoming flying objects from being adhered to or impinging on a throttle body and, at the same time, to reduce noises attributed to operating sounds of a fuel injection valve. [Means for Resolution] A vehicle-use internal combustion engine which is mounted on a motorcycle includes a throttle body 25 on which a throttle valve is mounted, a fuel injection valve 30 , and a throttle-body protective cover C which protects the throttle body 25 from oncoming objects such as water, mud and pebbles . The protective cover C is mounted on the throttle body 25 so as to cover the throttle body 25 which is arranged in an exposed manner from a vehicle body cover, and the protective cover C also covers the fuel injection valve 30 which is mounted on the throttle body 25.
