A compound of formula (III) Where 140932 RI is haloC1.10alltyl,C1-10aJkyl,C2-10alkenyl, C2-10cycloalkyl,carboxyC1-10alkyl,C1 10alkoxycarbonylC1-10alkyl,aryl (such as phenyl), aryl(C1-10)alkyl (such as pheuyl)(C1-10)alkyl) or di(C1-6alkyl)amino; R. is hydrogen, C1-6alkyl or hydroxy, R3 is hydrogen, C1-6alkyl, C2-6alkenyl or C2-6alkynyl; n is au integer of from 3 to 14; X is S, SO, SO2, O, NR6, N(O)R6, (PO)R6, NR7, COO-, NR7SO2, CONR6, CSNR6, NR7CO, NR7C(NR8)NR6, NR7CS, NR7CONR6, SO2NR6 or CO, where R6 is hydrogen or C1-6salkyl, R7 is hydrogen or C1-6a1ky1 and R3 is cyano, hydrogen or nitro, R4' is hydroxy, C1-10allcanoyloxy, carboxyC1-10alkanoyloxy or aroyloxy (such as benz,oyloxy) or a precursor group thereof and R5 is C1-6ancyl.
