Abstract
Process for the industrial synthesis of the compound of formula (I) characterised in that there is reacted (7-methoxy-1 naphthyl)acetonitrile of formula (II): which is subjected to reduction by hydrogen in the presence of Raney nickel in a medium comprising acetic anhydride in a polar protic medium to yield the compound of formula (I), which is isolated in the form of a solid.
