Electroacoustic transducer

Abstract

An electroacoustic transducer (10) is specified which has an annular body (11) which contains piezoceramic material and an electrode which makes contact therewith. In order to achieve small dimensions and a lightweight transducer (10) with sufficiently high acoustic power, the annular body (11) is composed of a plurality of annular, flat composite modules (16) which rest on one another in the radial direction of the annular body (11). Each composite module (16) has piezoceramic fibres which run in the circumferential direction of the annular body (11) axially at a distance from one another, and electrodes which run laterally thereto at a distance from one another, and which make contact with the piezoceramic fibres on their longitudinal faces which are radially averted from one another.
