Abstract

The present invention relates to a process for preparing a compound of formula (I) which comprises the following steps: a) adding in a stoichiometric manner the acyl chloride of formula (II) to the indazol-3-ylamine of formula (III): blocking the addition when the ndazol-3-ylamine of formula (III) is completely reacted; b) deprotecting under mild basic conditions the resulting compound of formula (IV): to obtain the desired compound of formula (I), which is isolated in amorphous form; Novel solid forms of this compound, their utility in treating diseases caused by deregulated protein kinase activity and pharmaceutical compositions containing them.
