A method of treatment with ozone for decolorizition of textile products

Abstract

The present invention relates to the field of treatments for decolorizing textile products, particularly, but not exclusively, garments made of jeans or denim fabric, in particular, the object of the present invention is a method for decolorizing textile products thanks to the synergistic action of a quaternary ammonium cation and ozone. The method of the present invention, comprises a pretreatment step, in which accelerating substance containing quaternary ammonium salts is applied to at least a portion of the textile product, and an ozonation step, in which the textile product is placed into and maintained within an ozonating fluid.
