An urban performance venue includes a performances surface arranged and configured for optimal spectator viewing from a spectator area extending from the front side of the performances surface, and a man-made crystal-clear lagoon extending from the rear side of the performances surface. The spectator area includes a first sandy spectator area resembling a tropical style beach and a second elevated spectator area providing wider viewing angles.
