Abstract
The present invention relates to an improved process for the production of heat resistant / water repellent leather useful for making safety apparels, gloves, jackets, hoods or the like comprising the steps of coating on premium grade leather an additional layer of Dupont Kevlar, sodium, lime, urea with other supporting chemicals, crushing, washing, buffing, milling and toggling the initial leather to get the final product.
