Provided is a polypeptide for use in the preparation of a product for preventing or treating skin injury diseases. The polypeptide provided herein not only has obvious wound-healing effect on skin ulcers and injuries, especially chronic refractory wounds on a body surface and acute and / or chronic skin diseases, but also can be absorbed by the skin much faster and much better due to its short chain of the peptide so as to have good stability in vivo and in vitro, and have a significant pro-proliferation effect on human immortalized keratinocytes, human microvascular endothelial cells, fibroblasts, glial cells, and tissue regeneration and angiogenesis. Therefore, the polypeptide provided herein is suitable for preparing a product for preventing or treating skin injury diseases and can produce positive therapeutic and preventive effects.
