Abstract
Disclosed is a compound of formula I wherein E1, Y1, B1, A2, D1, and Z1 have meanings as defined in the specification; which inhibits the activity of anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 or Bcl-xL proteins, and a composition containing the compound for treating diseases during which are expressed anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 protein.
