Dye polymers

Abstract

Present invention provides a method for obtaining a dye-polymer, the method comprising the step of reacting a polymer with a reactive dye to form toedye-polymer, wherein the polymer is comprised of comonomers of a phenyl dicarboxylate, an oxyalkyleneoxy and a polyoxyalkyleneoxy and the polymer comprises at least one free OH group. Present invention also provides a laundry treatment composition.comprising: ( i) 4rom 2 to 70 wt% of a surfactant; and (ii) from 0.0001 to 20.0 wt% of the dye-poly m'er, preferably 0.01 to 5wt%.
