Abstract

The subject of the application is a custom-fit display stand for a mineral, gemstone, or fossil, designed each time based on a digital three-dimensional model of the specific object. The stand contains a socket shaped like a negative of a fragment of the object's surface, the depth and range of contact of which are adapted to the height and mass of the object to ensure its stable positioning without the use of clamping elements. The stand can be constructed as a single- or multi-element structure and optionally include a light source located in its lower section.
