Abstract
The subject of the application is a method for regulating the movement of an Archimedes water turbine and an Archimedes turbine. The method for regulating the movement of an Archimedes turbine involves transmitting signal values from sensors and analyzing operating parameters via a computer, from which the signals are transmitted to actuator modules. The method is characterized in that the values of the propeller pitch angle, upper water level, lower water level, and inflow signals are processed and the control signals are transmitted to an actuator system that regulates the buoy's buoyancy, which is connected to the bearing housing of the lower end of the rotor, which rises or falls. Preferably, the change in buoy's buoyancy is regulated by displacing the water with injected pressurized air.The Archimedes water turbine has a rotor in the form of multi-turn blades with a helical edge, which blades are mounted concentrically on a tubular shaft, mounted in upper and lower bearing housings, in a metal trough set at an angle between the upper and lower water levels, characterized in that the lower bearing housing (2) (3) is connected to a floating control buoy (4), the up-down movement of which shifts the position of the lower end of the shaft (5) with a change in the angle α of the rotor axis (1), wherein the variable water to air ratio inside the floating buoy (4) affects its up-down movement. Preferably, the helical edge (6) has pads (61) made of a material with a lower freezing capacity than steel, preferably silicone, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), polypropylene (PP), polyimide or SBR rubber. Preferably, the covers (61) have the shape of a cylinder, oval or ellipse, most preferably they are attached to the edge of the screw edge (6) with fasteners.Preferably, the gutter (10) on its working surface has a layer I of a material with a lower thermal conductivity coefficient than the thermal conductivity coefficient of the metal from which the gutter (1) is made, most preferably a layer of SBR rubber, PP polypropylene, polymide or polyurethane. Preferably, the gutter (10) surface is coated with a layer II of a material with a lower freezing capacity than steel, most preferably silicone, polytetrafluoroethylene PTFE, PP polypropylene, polymide, polyurethane, rubber or layered composites of such materials.
