Abstract

The fluid conditioning device (1) comprises a rapid mixing chamber (12) comprising an inlet (2a) for a fluid (6) with a reagent (8) or a fluid inlet (6) and a reagent inlet (8) and at least one chicane (3a) or a mechanical stirrer therein, and a maturation chamber (11) connected thereto comprising an outlet (4) for a conditioned fluid (7), the maturation chamber (11) having a cross-section larger than the cross-section of the rapid mixing chamber (12), and both chambers (11, 12) are connected to each other via an inlet for a fluid (6) mixed with a reagent (8). A sludge conditioning device system comprising a belt sludge thickener is characterized in that it comprises a conditioning device (1) upstream of the flocculated sludge inlet (7) onto the thickener belt and a thickened sludge disintegration tank comprising at least one disintegrator downstream of the thickened sludge outlet (7) from the thickener belt.The subject of the invention is also a method of conditioning sludge using the above-mentioned system of devices.
