Abstract

The subject of the application is a rotary holder for a stage for a scanning electron microscope, which consists of three modules: a lower module, a middle module and an upper module, wherein: the lower module is connected to the middle module by a screw-type pressure connection, wherein the spherical end (15) - being an element of the upper module - is releasably mounted in the socket bowl through a through hole in the cylindrical collar (8) forming a ball joint with the pin (16) and the thread.The lower module, on the other hand, consists of a pressure base, a pressure base mandrel, a socket cap, and an external thread, wherein the pressure base, preferably in the shape of a straight circular cylinder, has on its upper surface - coaxially to the opening in the base - a permanently mounted pressure base mandrel in the shape of a straight circular cylinder, wherein on its upper surface there is a socket cap, constituting a spherical, preferably hemispherical, recess, while on the outer surface of the pressure base mandrel there is an external thread, wherein the pressure base mandrel is located coaxially to the opening in the base, wherein the outer wall of the socket cap is in a uniform plane with the outer wall of the pressure base mandrel, so that the socket cap constitutes an extension of the pressure base mandrel.The middle module consists of a base, an internal thread of a cylindrical collar (8), a cut-out (11), arms (12) and protrusions, wherein the base is preferably in the shape of a cylinder, most preferably a straight circular one, and also has one through hole in which an internal thread is located, and on the upper surface of the base, a cylindrical collar (8) is permanently mounted, having one through hole - coaxial to the socket bowl, and the holes in the middle module are placed coaxially to each other, furthermore, in the cylindrical collar (8) there is at least one, preferably three cut-outs (11) forming arms (12), wherein the inner upper edge of the arms is terminated with protrusions.The upper module consists of a ball end (15) and a pin (16) with a thread (17), and the socket bowl is matched in shape and dimensions to the ball end (15), and the parameters of the internal and external threads are matched to each other.
