Bio-fertilizer and method of its production

Abstract

The subject of the application is a biofertilizer in the form of mineral fertilizer granules with a coating containing biologically active preparations and a binder neutral towards the fertilizer and biologically active preparations, characterized in that the binder is a polymer from the group of polyethers with a melting point in the range of 40-90°C with the optional addition of glycerin, and optionally one or more excipients from the group of saccharides or sugar alcohols in an amount of 0-50% of the coating weight. Lyophilized bacteria of the genus Bocillus or Paenibacillus are preferably used as bioactive agents.The application also covers a method for producing a biofertilizer, which is characterized in that a powdered or liquefied binder in the form of a polymer with a melting point of 40-90°C with the optional addition of glycerine and bioactive factors is applied to the surface of mineral fertilizer granules heated by an air stream to a temperature of 70-90°C, and then the obtained coated granulate is cooled to a temperature below 40°C.
