Method of producing phosphorus fertilizer based on struvite

Abstract

The subject of the application is a method for producing a struvite-based phosphorus fertilizer, characterized in that the phosphorus raw material, being a mixture of phosphate rock in an amount of 70% to 99.5% and struvite in an amount of 0.5% to 30%, is subjected to homogenization and heating to a temperature of 70 - 90°C, then, while continuously stirring at a speed of 200 - 400 rpm and maintaining the temperature, 80 - 95% of the stoichiometric amount of a mineral acid selected from the group: sulfuric acid (VI) or phosphoric acid (V) is added, mixing is continued for 5 - 30 minutes, after which the mixture is left to mature at ambient temperature for 1 day, obtaining a solidified product in the form of a phosphate fertilizer with a concentration of 16% to 47% by weight of P2O5.
