Abstract

The subject of the application is a pin adapter for a stage holder for a scanning electron microscope, consisting of: a holder (1) and a set screw (2). The holder (1) in the shape of a prism with an even number of walls consists of two bases that are parallel to each other, i.e.: a first base (12) and a second base (13). The holder has a mounting hole (3), preferably a blind hole, a vertical hole (5) for the pin or a horizontal hole (6) for the pin, and a hole for the set screw (7). The mounting hole (3) located in the holder (1) preferably has an outlet on the bottom wall (14) of the holder (1), preferably located between the vertical plane of symmetry (Y) — being parallel to the bases (12, 13) of the holder — and the first base (12) of the holder (1). The mounting hole (3) has an internal thread (4).The vertical pin hole (5) is a through hole in the holder (1) — preferably parallel to the vertical plane of symmetry (Y), which is parallel to the bases (12, 13) of the holder (1). The vertical pin hole (5) is located between the vertical plane of symmetry (Y) of the holder and the second base (13) — having an outlet in the upper wall (15) and the lower wall (14) of the holder (1). The horizontal pin hole (6) is a through hole in the holder (1) running in the horizontal plane of symmetry (X), which is parallel to the lower wall (14) and the upper wall (15). The horizontal pin hole (6) is located between the vertical plane of symmetry (Y) of the holder and the second base (13) — having an outlet in the side walls of the holder (1).A hole for a pressure screw (7) is located in the holder (1), with the inlet of the hole for the screw (7) being in the second base (13) - with the longitudinal axis of the hole for the pressure screw (7) coinciding with the horizontal plane of symmetry (X) of the holder. The hole for the pressure screw (7) has an internal thread for the pressure screw. The depth of the hole for the pressure screw (7) is adjusted in a way that enables pressing the pin by means of the pressure screw (2); preferably, the depth of the hole for the pressure screw (7) is equal to the distance of: the vertical hole (5) for the pin from the second base (13) or the horizontal hole (6) for the pin from the second base (13). The pressure screw (2) has a threaded shank and preferably has a screw head.
