Abstract

The subject of the application is a composite Ni-B / MoS2 alloy coating. The coating contains a nickel-boron (Ni-B) matrix into which molybdenum sulphide (MoS2) powder particles with dimensions <2µm are incorporated, which have been functionalized by attaching OH groups to sulfur atoms and is obtained in the deposition process by chemical reduction at a temperature of 80°C - 90°C from a bath in the form of a multi-component solution containing: nickel (II) chloride (20 - 40 g / dm3), sodium borohydride (0.4 - 2.0 g / dm3), lead nitrate (0.01 - 0.05 g / dm3), ethylenediamine (70 - 100 g / dm3), sodium hydroxide (70 - 100 g / dm3) and functionalized MoS2 powder particles dispersed in the solution in the amount of 0.1 - 1.0 g / dm3.
