Fire retardant mortar

Abstract

The subject of the application shown in the drawing is a fire-retardant mortar containing graphite, a polymer dispersion / resin, water, and modifying additives. It is characterized in that it additionally contains clay, wherein the mortar composition comprises from 5% to 60% by weight of clay, from 5% to 25% by weight of intumescent (expanded) graphite, from 5% to 40% by weight of polymer or silicone dispersion, from 2% to 30% by weight of water, and up to 30% by weight of modifying additives. The subject of the application also covers a method for providing waterproofing protection to finished products made from the fire-retardant mortar.
