Abstract

The subject of the application is a device for generating a strong, pulsed magnetic field with a constant gradient, with a powder magnetic core and a thyristor, for use in modifying biological structures. The device for generating a strong, pulsed magnetic field comprises an electric capacitor (2), a coil (3) wound on a powder magnetic core (4) made of a powder composite material, with an air gap (5) of linearly variable thickness, and a thyristor (1) connected in series, and a diode (6) connected in parallel to the coil (3) between the anode of the thyristor (1) and the capacitor (2).
