Abstract
The subject of the application is molecularly imprinted polymers selective for S-metolachlor, which are characterized by containing acrylic acid in an amount of 24%-40% by weight, acrylamide in an amount of 25%-39% by weight, and N,N'-methylenebis(acrylamide) in an amount of 21%-46% by weight. The application also concerns a method for obtaining pH-sensitive molecularly imprinted polymers selective for S-metolachlor, which are used in environmental protection, in particular for monitoring water pollution by separating the herbicide S-metolachlor from a mixture of micropollutants and then desorpting it into clean water. In this way, only S-metolachlor is isolated from the mixture of micropollutants, enabling direct determination of its concentration. The subject of the application also concerns a method for pre-preparing a sample for the selective determination of S-metolachlor by sorption and desorption from a solution of micropollutants.
