Abstract

The subject of the application shown in the drawing is a flush-mounted box for roller shutters intended to be integrated and concealed in a wall, which can be installed both in the presence of a recess in the wall below the lintel (A) and in the absence of such a recess, defining an internal chamber capable of housing the roller shutter and its driving mechanisms, comprising a longitudinal slot on the lower side allowing the roller shutter to be opened and closed and an inspection opening located on the lower side, characterized by an additional slot (3) placed parallel to the upper crossbar of the frame, with a height greater than the thickness of the roller shutter and a width greater than the width of the roller shutter, configured to create a communication channel between the internal chamber of the roller shutter housing and the room in which the roller shutter is installed, in order to allow the roller shutter to be removed or inserted during maintenance operations without having to access the window opening,wherein the cavity formed by said gap is filled with a removable insulating material of a shape and size corresponding to the gap to provide thermal insulation, and said gap is covered by a frame cover when the roller shutter box is in use.,
