Modular cladding system

Abstract

The modular cladding system, constructed from a steel support structure and panels, is characterized by a 2- to 5-mm-thick steel support structure consisting of vertical rail profiles (1) connected by horizontal rail profiles (2). Rectangular mounting brackets (3) with holes (4) at the top and bottom of the open side of the profiles (1) are attached to the top and bottom. The other side of the support structure is covered with panels (5) attached to the vertical rail profiles (1). The panels (5) consist of a top layer of cold-formed aluminum sheet, which forms the front and rear covers. At least one expanded aluminum core is located between the covers. The thickness of standard panels (5) ranges from 20 to 60 mm.The panel casing (5) is made of solid aluminum with a thickness of 2 to 3 mm and the core is made of foamed aluminum, with an average density of aluminum foam of 3.0 kg / m2 and can vary within a range of ±0.5 kg / m2, nominal thickness: 12 - 18 mm and air cell sizes: 10 - 30 mm.
