Abstract

The subject of the application is a stabilization module for immobilizing and feeding larvae, particularly Galleria mellonella, which consists of a stabilization segment (1) in the form of a heat-shrinkable cylinder that adapts to the shape of the larva's body (2) under the influence of temperature, equipped with an inspection hole (3) located in the wall of the stabilization segment (1), an aeration and feeding segment having a gas-permeable mesh (4) and equipped with a sleeve (5), and a positioning segment (6) in the form of a threaded positioning mechanism. The subject of the application also includes a multi-plane stand enabling uniform arrangement of stabilization modules in a radial arrangement and a modular system for immobilizing and feeding larvae, particularly Galleria mellonella.
