Sealing of profiles of a modular curtain wall

Abstract

Sealing of profiles of a modular curtain wall consisting of a set of internal vapor-tight seals and a set of external seals for protection against rainwater made of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM) is characterized in that each set of seals consists of a vertical seal with arrow-shaped edges with grooves embedded in the profile of the modular curtain wall and a horizontal seal (4) mounted in the mounting sockets of the modular curtain wall, wherein the horizontal seal with a bracket (4) has a body in the form of flexible elliptical elements with linearly beveled edges together with longitudinal hook-shaped mounting catches extending from the body for mounting in the mounting sockets of the modular curtain wall equipped with a mounting space enabling the mounting of catches and the creation of a tight expansion joint permanently connecting the elements of the modular wall.
