Abstract

The subject of the application is a system for the production of growing media and components and a method for producing growing media and components. A system for the production of growing media and components containing a main raw material and additives, wherein the system comprises a main raw material pre-treatment line comprising: a separator for removing impurities, a crusher and a wetting device, and a process unit comprising a cylindrical chamber with a transport system for combining the main raw material processed in the pre-treatment line with additives.The system also includes: an electrostatic activation module (25) comprising: a tube (251) with electrodes installed within the tube (251) for electrostatically activating powder additives, the tube (251) having an inlet (251a) for introducing additives into the tube in an air stream and an outlet (251b) connected to the process unit (26) for introducing electrostatically activated additives into the chamber (261) of the process unit (26), a high voltage generator for generating and supplying voltage to the electrodes in the tube (251), and an overpressure fan for maintaining a pressure difference between the tube (251) and the chamber of the process unit (26).
