Abstract

The subject of the application is a device for the reactive extrusion of rubber waste, especially car tires, which is equipped with two extruders of modular construction, wherein the first planetary extruder (WP1) is connected in a cascade to the second planetary extruder (WP2) by means of a chamber (4) for free or forced degassing, wherein one of the extruders is located above in a cascade connection, and furthermore both planetary extruders in their construction include a hopper (1); a single-screw conveying module (2) containing a screw and a cylinder, which is additionally equipped with a cooling system (5) and at least one multi-screw mixing module (3), preferably two connected to each other. The application also concerns a method for the reactive extrusion of rubber waste.
