Abstract
The application concerns 3D molds made of transfer material, intended for the simultaneous forming and decorating of concrete or plaster casts, and a method for their production. The 3D mold consists of: a base layer (1), which, after thermoforming, functions as the mold itself, giving the cast (6) a three-dimensional form and structure. It is removed during demoulding of the finished cast (6) and temporarily bonded to the transfer layer (2) with a printed decorative layer (3) applied thereto. The three layers constitute the entire transfer material and are thermoformed to obtain the desired three-dimensional shape and 3D surface structure of the mold. After thermoforming and three-dimensional shaping, a protective and bonding layer (4) is manually or mechanically applied directly onto the printed decorative layer (3), followed by a mineral layer (5).After applying the mineral layer (5), the mold can be filled with concrete and / or plaster to form the casting (6) or the mold can be set aside until the protective and bonding layer (4) is fully cured.
