Abstract

The subject of the application is a loading method and a loading station for filling tobacco industry cassettes. A loading station (4) for filling tobacco industry cassettes (10) with rod-like articles, comprising a reservoir (6) supplied with a mass flow of rod-like articles, for receiving and temporarily storing rod-like articles, adapted to cooperate with a cassette (10) so that the walls of the cassette (10) include a reservoir (6), a blocking valve (7) for interrupting the mass flow of rod-like articles, located in the lower part of the reservoir (6), adapted to alternately open and close the mass flow of rod-like articles in order to fill the cassette (10) with rod-like articles.The charging station (4) is characterized in that it is provided with an industrial robot (9) with a gripper (12) adapted to move tobacco industry cassettes (10) in a cycle comprising the following steps: moving empty cassettes (10) from a storage location to a reservoir (6) in a filling area, moving cassettes (10) during filling in the filling area, and moving full cassettes (10) from a reservoir (6) from a filling area to a storage location.
