Abstract

An installation for detecting leaks from pipelines and / or pipeline systems in individual heat receiving branches of a heating network connected to a minimum two-pipe heating main connecting heat substations, which in heat substations has two flow meters. The first supply flow meter (8) has an input from the first part (21) of the bypass supply pipeline connected to the interior of the pipeline (12) supplying the heat consumer (10) or a group (10) of heat consumers, and an output to the second part (7) of the bypass supply pipeline connected to a further part of the interior of the pipeline (12) supplying the heat consumer (10) or a group (10) of heat consumers. The second return flow meter (9) has an input from the first part (11) of the bypass supply pipeline connected to the interior of the return pipeline (13) from the heat consumer (10) or from a group (10) of heat consumers, and an output to the second part (22) of the bypass return pipeline connected to a further part of the interior of the return pipeline (13) from the heat consumer (10) or from a group (10) of heat consumers. The system for using the data from this consists in that the data from the supply flow meter (8) and the data from the return flow meter (9) are transmitted by any means from each of the heat nodes (6) to the memory in the heating network control room via a transmitter. Based on this data, a graph of changes in the "weighted average flow rate" indicator is prepared over time.In particular, this indicator is calculated according to the formula "(B—C) / (B+C)", where "B" is the result of the flow measurement at a given moment obtained from the supply flow meter, and "C" is the result of the measurement at a given moment obtained from the return flow meter.
