Abstract
The subject of the application is a heat sink designed for use in systems with static and dynamic loads for heat dissipation in the electrical and electronics industries. The load-absorbing heat sink is constructed of two plates: a top plate and a bottom plate with a finned filling. The bottom plate (1) and the top plate (2) of the heat sink, measuring 160 mm by 20 mm and 4 mm thick, provide the bottom support for the heat sink and the top support for the heating elements. The fins (3) are formed as 1 mm thick and 20 mm wide steel strips, welded together and to the plates using the resistance method. The heat sink plates are made of STRENX 700HR W steel with anti-corrosion properties, suitable for applications in structures requiring high strength and good weldability, and a tensile strength Rm of the steel ranging from 750 to 950 MPa.The strips are made of C75S carbon spring steel, characterized by abrasion resistance, weldability, good electrical and thermal conductivity, and a tensile strength Rm of 600 to 750 MPa. Preferably, the top and bottom plates are rectangular. The thermal dissipation method, as described above, is characterized by its use to dissipate heat, electrical charges, and transfer loads from heating elements in electrical equipment systems, as well as to support them.
