Abstract

The subject of the application is a method and system for hybrid verification of electronic document integrity through parallel analysis of text, visual, and structural layers. The method for hybrid verification of electronic document integrity is characterized in that the process of comparing the document being examined with a template is performed in parallel in three independent layers: the text layer, where the character codes of the data stream are compared; the visual layer, where both documents are rasterized into bitmaps and then algorithmically compared differently (pixel-by-pixel); and the structural layer, where the integrity of the metadata and the file's binary object tree are analyzed. Detection of anomalies in any of the layers, while maintaining consistency in the others, is classified as a covert manipulation attempt.
