Heat storage system

Abstract

The subject of the application is a heat storage tank (1) with a closed bottom, filled with sand (2) and located within insulating side walls (3). There is a space between the insulating side walls (3) and the tank (1). Muffles (4) are built into openings in one wall of the tank (1), in which heaters (5) are mounted. Inside the tank (1), a horizontal plate (6) is placed, to the upper surface of which vertical rods (7) are attached. Above the plate (6), in the space between the rods (7), a container (8) filled with paraffin (9) is placed, with layers of sand (2) separating the tank (1) from the plate (6) with rods (7) and the plate (6) with rods (7) from the container (8). In the upper part of the tank (1), between the sand layers (2), there is a fixed coil (10) supplying water, the inlet of which is mounted in an opening in the tank wall (1) and in an opening in the insulating wall (3).
