Fusion proteins containing a targeting sequence direct the fusion protein to the exospore of a recombinant Bacillus cereus family member and a xyloglucanase or lichenase enzyme. The fusion protein has agricultural applications, increasing plant height, canopy cover fraction in soybeans, and yield.
