COMPOSITIONS WITH BARRIER PROPERTIES FOR PAPER, CARDBOARD AND TEXTILES

Abstract

Compositions for providing barrier properties such as resistance to liquids, oils, and / or greases to a substrate, preparations, and applications, as well as substrates and derived articles, such as food containers, plates, straws, bags (paper and textile), cloths, and bowls. Substrates treated with this composition were found to possess improved properties in terms of resistance to liquids, greases, and oils, even after subsequent folding steps, such as those used in food packaging.
