Abstract

The present invention relates to the potentiation of flumethylsulforim when used concomitantly, concurrently, or in conjunction with flumethylsulforim potentiating compounds, collectively or typically, isoprene-based compounds or compounds structurally based on 2-methyl-1,3-butadiene units or derivatives thereof, such as monoterpenoids and derivatives thereof, secondary metabolites derived from isoprene selected from phenylpropanoids; monoterpenoids, flavones, etc., as part of a program to address agricultural pathogens and particularly crop plant pathogens, whether in curative, protective, and / or preventative programs.The present invention also relates to methods for increasing the potentiation of flumethylsulforim when used concomitantly, concurrently, or in conjunction with flumethylsulforim potentiating compounds, collectively or typically, isoprene-based compounds or compounds structurally based on 2-methyl-1,3-butadiene units or derivatives thereof, by adjusting the ratios between flumethylsulforim and the flumethylsulforim potentiating compounds and / or by adjusting the concentration of the compounds in the spray mixture from which they are applied.
