Abstract

The invention relates to an anti-tip protection system for electric scooters.The system, according to the invention, consists of two longitudinal, expandable bars (7) that are integral with a support plate (1) of a scooter, each of the two longitudinal bars (7) fixed under the support plate (1) makes an acute angle with the direction of travel, having inside an axle (9) that is normally in the retracted position, the axle (9) has at a front end a support roller (10) that is normally arranged above the ground, but which will come into contact with the ground when the axle (9) reaches the extended position, and at a rear end the axle (9) has a trigger system that allows it to be launched forward at the moment of emergency braking, the actuation being performed with a helical spring or with an electromechanical actuator, in which case automatic triggering is also possible in impact situations in which the user is taken by surprise, not having the necessary time to brake.
