Abstract
The invention relates to a circular vortex pyrolysis reactor with pneumatic-hydraulic transfer to obtain biologically activated biochar meant for processing agricultural biomass via anaerobic pyrolysis and biologic functionalization. According to the invention, the pyrolysis reactor uses an active fluid geometry with Coandă effect and Tesla diodes for recycling and thermal cracking of pyrolysis gases, while eliminating the need of mobile mechanical components subjected to wear, by using a grate with helical blades which generates an upward centripetal vortex that ensures uniform centripetal distribution and effective ash self-removal, the system having a step of in-situ thermal-chemical activation (Flash-Activation) and a process of hydraulic immersion in an IBC functionalization unit, where the biochar is saturated under pressure with biological inoculants and oxygen nano bubbles, the reactor design on a mobile undercarriage (skid) allowing the self-sustainable operation directly from the biomass source, this way actively contributing to carbon sequestration, methane emission elimination and regeneration of agricultural lands.
