Abstract

The object of the invention is a floating plant (1) for installing in a water body (2) and for introducing thermal energy into the water body (2), as well as for extracting thermal energy from the water body (2), comprising a hollow space (3); at least one primary heat exchanger (4) which, after installation of said plant (1) in the water body (2), is at least partially immersed in the water body (2) and is arranged on the outside of said plant (1), in particular under the bottom and / or on the sides thereof; at least one heat exchanging element, selected from the group comprising a secondary heat exchanger (22) and a heat pump (5), arranged within said plant (1); and at least one storage tank (6) arranged within said plant (1), wherein the storage tank (6) is further connectable to a second heat transfer fluid conduit (7) outside said plant (1). The object of the invention further comprises a method of heating and a method of cooling a building by means of said floating plant (1).
