Abstract

The plant for replacing the low-pressure heater of the basic condensate in thermal power plants by using the waste heat of the flue gases allows steam not to be taken from the turbine in order to use its energy to heat the basic condensate in the low-pressure heaters (1, 2, 3, 4), because the basic condensate from the pipeline of the basic condensate line (11), in front of the closed partition valve (37), is drained through the pipeline of the line (13) into the transfer tank (15), from where it is pushed by the overcurrent pumps (18) through the smoke heater of the basic condensate (23), placed in the bypass flue duct (32) of the exhaust flue duct (34) of the flue gas fan and after being heated by the waste heat of the flue gases, it reaches the pipeline of the basic condensate line (12), behind the closed partition valve (37). The regulation of the exchanged heat is done by changing the flow of the basic condensate on the overcurrent pumps (18) and the control valve (22) and by changing the flue gas flow with the control valves (30, 31, 33).
