Claims

1. A vehicle containing the first communication terminal provided on a vehicle; a second communication terminal provided on the vehicle; a controller configured to transmit vehicle identification information from the vehicle to the first communication terminal or the second communication terminal according to a request from the first communication terminal or the second communication terminal, wherein the first communication terminal is configured to transmit to the controller a first request message for requesting identification information of the vehicle at a first time after the expiration of a first predetermined period of time from the time the ignition of the vehicle is turned on, wherein the second communication terminal is configured to transmit to the controller a second request message for requesting identification information of the vehicle at a second time after a second predetermined period of time has elapsed from the time the ignition of the vehicle is turned on, and wherein the second predetermined period of time is shorter than the first predetermined period of time.

2. The vehicle according to claim 1, wherein the first communication terminal is configured to, in response to a diagnostic message of successful completion output from the controller before the first time, determine a receiving object of the diagnostic message of successful completion based on the state of the on-board diagnostic connection.

The vehicle according to item 2, wherein the first communication terminal is configured to designate the on-board diagnostics as the receiving object of the diagnostic success message based on the determination that the on-board diagnostics is connected to the vehicle; determine the second communication terminal as the receiving object of the diagnostic success message based on the determination that the on-board diagnostics is not connected to the vehicle.

4. The vehicle according to claim 2, wherein the first communication terminal is configured to transmit the first request message to the controller at a first time based on a determination that the receiving object of the successful diagnostic message is the second communication terminal.

The vehicle of claim 2, wherein the first communication terminal is configured to not transmit the first request message to the controller until the ignition of the vehicle is turned off based on a determination that the receiving object of the successful diagnostic message is on-board diagnostics.

6. The vehicle according to claim 1, wherein the first communication terminal is configured to, in response to a diagnostic failure message output from the controller before the first time, transmit a first request message to the controller at a third time after a predetermined period of time has elapsed from the first time, instead of outputting the first request message at the first time.

7. The vehicle of claim 1, wherein the second communication terminal is configured to not transmit the second request message to the controller until the ignition of the vehicle is turned off, based on the diagnostic successful completion message output from the controller.

8. A vehicle according to paragraph 1, in which the controller is configured to output a diagnostic failure message based on the occurrence of a conflict between the first request message and the second request message, the first communication terminal is configured to retransmit the first request message to the controller after a threshold period of time has elapsed based on the received diagnostic failure message, and the second communication terminal is configured to not transmit the second request message to the controller until the ignition of the vehicle is turned off based on the received diagnostic failure message.

9. The vehicle according to paragraph 1, in which the first communication terminal is configured to establish communication with the first server providing the infotainment service based on the received identification information of the vehicle, and the second communication terminal is configured to establish communication with the second server providing the eCall service based on the received identification information of the vehicle.

10. A method for preventing a communication conflict between a first communication terminal provided on a vehicle and a second communication terminal provided on the vehicle, said method comprising the steps of transmitting, via the first communication terminal, a first request message for requesting identification information of the vehicle from the vehicle to the controller at a first time after the expiration of a first predetermined period of time from the time the ignition of the vehicle is turned on; transmitting via the second communication terminal a second request message for requesting identification information of the vehicle to the controller at a second time after a second predetermined period of time has elapsed from the time the ignition of the vehicle is turned on, wherein the second predetermined period of time is shorter than the first predetermined period of time.

The method according to claim 10, further comprising the steps of in response to a successful diagnostic message output from the controller before the first time, determining, by means of the first communication terminal, a receiving object of the successful diagnostic message based on the on-board diagnostic connection state.

12. The method of claim 11, wherein determining the receiving object of the successful completion diagnostic message comprises the steps of defining the on-board diagnostics as a receiving object of the diagnostic success message based on the determination that the on-board diagnostics is connected to the vehicle; determining the second communication terminal as a receiving object of the diagnostic success message based on the determination that the on-board diagnostics is not connected to the vehicle.

13. The method according to claim 11, wherein the transmission of the first request message to the controller is carried out by the first communication terminal only when the receiving object of the successful diagnostic message is determined to be the second communication terminal.

14. The method according to claim 11, further comprising the step of: not transmitting via the first communication terminal the first request message to the controller until the ignition of the vehicle is turned off based on the determination that the receiving object of the successful completion diagnostic message is the on-board diagnostics.

15. The method according to claim 10, further comprising the step of: in response to a diagnostic failure message output from the controller before the first time, transmitting via the first communication terminal a first request message to the controller at a third time after a predetermined period of time has elapsed from the first time, instead of outputting the first request message at the first time.

16. The method according to claim 10, further comprising the step of: not transmitting via the second communication terminal the second request message to the controller until the ignition of the vehicle is turned off based on the diagnostic successful message output from the controller.

17. The method according to claim 10, further comprising the steps of: outputting by means of the controller a diagnostic failure message based on the occurrence of a conflict between the first request message and the second request message; retransmitting via the first communication terminal the first request message to the controller after a threshold period of time has elapsed based on the received diagnostic failure message; and not transmitting via the second communication terminal a second request message to the controller until the ignition of the vehicle is turned off based on the received diagnostic failure message.

18. The method according to claim 10, wherein the first communication terminal is configured to establish communication with the first server providing the infotainment service based on the received identification information of the vehicle, and the second communication terminal is configured to establish communication with the second server providing the eCall service based on the received identification information of the vehicle.

19. A vehicle containing: the first communication terminal provided on a vehicle; a second communication terminal provided on the vehicle; a communication interface for communicating between the first communication terminal and the second communication terminal; and a controller configured to transmit vehicle identification information from the vehicle to the first communication terminal according to a request from the first communication terminal, wherein the first communication terminal is configured to transmit to the controller a request message for requesting identification information of the vehicle based on the expiration of a predetermined period of time from the time the ignition of the vehicle is turned on, and transmit to the second communication terminal the identification information of the vehicle via the communication interface based on the received identification information of the vehicle from the controller.
