CONSUMER INTERACTION DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE

Claims

1. A system containing outer container; a device for interacting with a consumer, containing an extraction unit configured to extract used consumables from an outer container, wherein the outer container is configured to be brought into mechanical coupling with the apparatus for interaction with the consumer, wherein each of the used consumables contains a portion of the aerosol-forming substrate remaining after use of the consumable; a controller operatively connected to the extraction unit and configured to collect data on at least used consumables extracted from the outer container, wherein the outer container or the owner of the outer container is given a recycling reward for the used consumable extracted from the container; and compartment of the device for recyclable materials for storing used consumables removed from the container.

2. A device for interacting with a consumer according to paragraph 1, wherein the extraction unit comprises a robotic manipulator.

3. A device for interaction with a consumer according to paragraph 1 or 2, wherein the device for interaction with a consumer additionally contains a storage compartment for new materials for storing unused consumables.

4. The device for interaction with the consumer according to paragraph 3, wherein the extraction unit is additionally configured to place unused consumables from the storage compartment for new materials of the device for interaction with the consumer into an external container.

5. A system for rewarding a container or the owner of a container with one or more recycling rewards, comprising an outer container, wherein the outer container comprises a recyclables container compartment configured to at least temporarily contain one or more used consumables; and a device for interacting with a consumer, containing an extraction unit configured to extract used consumables from an external container; a controller operatively connected to the extraction unit and configured to collect data on at least used consumables extracted from the outer container; and a compartment of the apparatus for processing materials for storing used consumables removed from the external container, wherein the outer container is designed with the possibility of being brought into a detachable mechanical connection with the device for interaction with the consumer, wherein the outer container or the owner of the outer container is given a reward for recycling for used consumables extracted from the compartment for recyclable materials of the outer container by the extraction unit.

6. The system according to paragraph 5, wherein the extraction unit is additionally configured to dispense unused consumables from the apparatus for interaction with the consumer into an external container.

7. The system of claim 6, wherein the outer container further comprises a compartment for unused materials.

8. The system according to any one of paragraphs 5-8, wherein the outer container is configured to store data associated therewith.

9. The system of claim 8, wherein the data associated with the external container is associated with an intermediate device.

10. A method of rewarding a consumer with a recycling reward for the return of used consumables generated during the use of an aerosol generating device, comprising bringing the outer container into detachable mechanical connection with the device for interaction with the consumer; removing at least one used consumable from the outer container by means of a removal unit of the apparatus for interaction with the consumer; and rewarding the outer container or the owner of the outer container with a reward for recycling the used consumable extracted from the outer container by the extraction unit of the device for interaction with the consumer.

11. The method according to paragraph 10, further comprising collecting by the device for interaction with the consumer data relating to the outer container or its owner.

12. The method according to claim 11, wherein the data collected relates to information related to recycling rewards belonging to the owner of the outer container.

13. The method of claim 11, wherein the collected data relates to features associated with used consumables removed from the outer container, unused consumables contained in the outer container, unused consumables previously contained in the outer container, or combinations thereof.

14. The method according to paragraph 11, wherein the collected data relates to the desired additional unused consumables to be issued into the external container.

15. The method according to any one of paragraphs 10-14, wherein the device for interacting with the consumer, the external container, or both of them can receive and transmit data to an external electronic user device.
